Rural Agentur has proposed a concept for an abandoned train station, a re-interpretation of the train station as one of the few genuinely public spaces in rural areas.

Rural Agentur has suggested to radically interpret the space as belonging to the public realm by creating a public art space accessible 24/7.

For the green area around the train station (the former track area), Rural Agentur proposes a rural sculpture park, leaving the nature semi-wild and informal.
